Making Enemies of Your Thoughts

I read this article over in the blog Healer to Healer. I think it’s important. It is the idea that when we think we must change our thoughts we actually make enemies of them and this limits us. It’s a great article and I encourage everyone to stop over there and read it.

I’d also like to add that this is often true of our bodies as well. When we are sick, we often blame our body. When we are overweight, we often make our body an enemy. Instead of working with our body or our thoughts, we make them other than us and therefore the enemy. No wonder we struggle to get where we are. Consider befriending your body and your thoughts rather than making an enemy of them.
