Keep on Trying

As I work towards new goals in my life, I find that one thing I need to keep doing is trying. I need to keep rethinking and refining and trying new things all the time.   There always seems to be something more to do.   So I do it. Some things work.  Others fail miserably.  I think this is a wonderful life lesson.  Rather than looking at those things that did not work as failures, I need to see them as learning experiences.  As most of them are not super spectacular life ending failures, I can see that.  So I move on rather quickly and forget what didn’t work.

There is something to be said for that in life as well.  Healing is a process. Sometimes you try things that are spectacular failures and other times something works.  It won’t always be the same thing for everyone.   But something always clicks and works and then there is some relief from whatever is going on.  It feels good when it happens.  It doesn’t always–trying doesn’t always mean success. However not trying does always mean failure.
