My yoga teacher put us through some balance poses today. As we came out of one of them, she asked us if we had noticed how quiet our mind was as we got into a really good balance place, where it felt solid. I realized that yes, the most solid the balance felt, the quieter the mind. As we went through the posture again, I noticed as soon as I thought of something other than my focus on balance, then I started to fall.
What does this say about balance in our lives?! And how should we apply that?
